Mark White is an American production designer who has worked on a variety of film and television projects,including The Handmaid's Tale for which he won and Emmy Award for outstanding Production Design, White attended the prestigious Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan University, studied at the Silvermine Arts Center and Maryland Institute College of Art.
He began his career in commercial illustration and toy and halloween mask design for Topstone Industries. In Film and Television he as worked as aProp Fabricator, Scenic Painter, Set Decorator, Art Director and Production Designer.
White's work has been praised for its attention to detail and its ability to create visually striking worlds. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, he said that his goal is to "create a world that is believable and immersive, but also visually interesting."
Mark is currently based in New York.
